Here is how to stop living for the weekend

Balanced women are not waiting for the weekend to rest and have fun.

They are cooking meals they love, playing Old Maid with their kids, taking walks to the park, snuggling in with their husband and even reading a good book…all on a normal weeknight.

These women have high-level jobs too. Ones where they manage teams, operate on strict deadlines, are responsible for the largest accounts within the company…which means they usually work a lot more than 40 hours/week.

Here is what sets them apart…

They don’t describe their job as being stressful and exhausting.

--> They decide when they will do something, calendar it and stick to it.

--> When something feels confusing or hard, they prioritize it.

--> They self-validate and don’t need others to tell them if they’re doing things "right".

--> They ask their boss for help when needed.

--> They decide when they will work and when they won't and they don't compromise.

Having energy at the end of the workday isn’t about working less but about managing your brain while working.

Learning how to think purposeful thoughts, thoughts that don’t make you feel behind, like you’re doing it wrong or like you’re a fraud, will create space for you to have the everyday life you want.

It will feel like you’re actually creating time at the end of a busy work day, just like Daniela...

Daniela felt bitter and angry that she was only spending 2 hours with her kids at the end of the workday. It never felt like enough. By the end of coaching she told me, "I still only spend 2 hours, but it feels like all I need. I’m creating everyday memories in our time and it’s enough."

Your 2 hours a day can feel like enough too. Book a call with me if you are ready to make everyday memories with your kids, just like Daniela. Click here to schedule.
