What I really don’t want, is to miss out on my kid’s life.
To work my way through their adolescence and wish I wouldn’t have.
To miss play time, outdoor adventures and memory-making moments because I was so exhausted.
To not use my vacation time to unplug and connect with my family because it creates more work when I get back.
To get to the end of my life and wish I wouldn’t have worked so much.
I want work to be an important aspect of my life, but not ALL of my life.
For ambitious working moms, this isn’t the default. Work is likely all-consuming unless you do something about it.
If left unmanged, your brain would likely keep prioritizing work over your family and certainly over yourself.
But this isn’t the only way.
You can leave work projects undone. You can tell your boss no. You can put away your phone when with your kids. You can learn to get things done in shorter periods of time. You can learn to let go.
You can have the life where work is important but not the most important.
Do you live to work or work to live?
If you are the former, I can help.
Schedule a free call and I will help you lay a foundation for work-life balance where your kids come first but without sacrificing your career to get it.
