Should I just quit my job?
This was a question I didn’t expect to hit me after my daughter was born.
I didn’t want to be a stay-at-home mom. I loved working.
But I didn’t like my job anymore.
And leaving my daughter every single day to go to a job I didn’t want to be at was an excruciating experience.
It got more complicated…
I was the breadwinner of the family. I held the insurance. I was the one putting into our retirement. I had good PTO.
It felt irresponsible to leave.
If I was going to do something different, if I was going to leave the benefits and security of my job, I needed to be certain it was the right decision.
So, I started searching for the right answer.
But how do you go about figuring out what is “right”? There isn’t exactly a roadmap.
It took me a year of reading, journaling, meditating, and meeting with mentors to try to find the right path for me and in podcast episode 34, I share my journey of figuring out what is “right”.
Here is what I cover:
✨ What it takes to feel “certain” about your decision to quit or not
✨ Why making gut decisions is not useful and what to do instead
✨ 3 specific exercises you should do if you are considering moving on from your job
