After becoming a mom, life gets confusing.
It’s not only a challenge to figure out the whole baby thing…but for many high achieving working moms they also feel a sense of “lostness”.
Who am I, now that I’m a mom?
What do I really want?
What’s most important?
It feels like an emotional rollercoaster without any clear understanding of how to get off.
I remember that season well.
My job, once the most perfect place for me to be, now felt excruciating.
My career path, once a straight and linear path, was completely fogged in. I had no sense of where to go.
My community, once a place of deep friendship and shared life, now absent.
What the heck?!
Nobody talks about this stuff when you are pregnant! Did all the women that came before me forget? Or am I simply alone in this?
No. I wasn’t alone. I know that now. I’ve worked with hundreds of working moms these past few years and their description matches mine exactly.
That is one of the reasons I created the Facebook group, Working Moms That Want It All. I wanted a community of like-minded women to share their experiences so that high achieving working moms would know they are not alone.
If you are in the middle of this challenging season, join the group and share your experience. If you have already made it to the other side…come be a voice for those that it need it.

I see you. I hear you. I was once where you are.
