A have-to life is a life that feels forced, hard and exhausting.
I have to work.
I have to cook dinner.
I have to take my kid to soccer.
I have to work-out.
I have to clean the house.
I have to give my kid a bath.
And though it’s true you might need to do most of these things in order to care for yourself and your family it’s the thought that you "have to" that is causing the unbalanced & exhausted life (not the task itself).
There is a difference in how it feels to give your kid a bath when you WANT TO verses when you HAVE TO.
There is a difference in how it feels to work when you WANT TO verses when you HAVE TO.
There is a difference on how it feels to work-out when you WANT TO verses when you HAVE TO.
Same task, but one energy feels hard and forced and the other feels motivating and energizing.
There are some commitments that you do not HAVE TO do, that you simply need to delegate, pay someone or stop doing them all together.
Other commitments you need to move into WANT TO energy so life can feel more balanced and less exhausting.
A balanced life is a life you WANT TO be in, not one that feels obligatory.
