This is my client Faith 🏾🏾🏾.
Faith just received a promotion into management at her firm.
It’s sort of a big deal because about year ago Faith came to coaching lacking confidence in herself and her ability to make management at her company WHILE still being a good mom.
So she didn’t speak up at meetings.
She didn’t ask for what she needed from her boss.
Her inner voice was always questioning her decisions and if she was doing things right.
But Faith believed she could do it.
She believed she could silence her inner critic and learn to advocate for herself.
She believed she could learn to push past her perfectionism and operate more effectively to do more in less time.
In coaching, she rolled up her sleeves and went all in.
She examined the core parts of her.
She defined who she was and what was most important to her.
She created a new foundation for confidence that was based not on how others viewed her but how she viewed herself.
She dove into her strengths and began to speak up in meetings.
She advocated for projects that aligned with her skills.
She asked for what she needed and was willing to hear "no".
Today, just over a year since she started coaching, all that hard work paid off.
Sometimes there is a delayed gratification to our hard work, but it always pays out in the end.
Sometimes we have to recommit back into the ambitious and balanced life we want to achieve, but that doesn’t mean anything has gone wrong.
Sometimes it takes a lot of failure before we catapult into the life we want with ease.
But we are always moving forward.
Keep going working moms, just like Faith, you will reach your big goals too.
Let’s get to it…
